I have another man in my bed...

Daddy is away & the mice will play! Isn't that the saying?! Nah.. It is just how I feel right about now! This tribe of ours has been behaving WILD lately! They seem to have even more energy than me! Scary! Yes they started preschool last week & Yes they love it! What I love even more is that I actually have time to pay closer attention to each of them. I boy have I noticed quite a few things about them now that they are not around me 24/7. Today is all about Brendan, funny how that is, he is my little man! I have noticed just how sensitive Brendan has become! Especially now that he is in school, on a different NEW schedule. His teacher even told me the other day that he was being "secretive"! How many secrets can a three year old have?! Hmm... Then she said he cried during lunch for his "momma", Oh Boy! Normal I know but this is at lunch not when I am dropping him off! I know he will be OK & just brush it off to he is going through one of his "things" & needs time to work it out. One of the biggest things he needs to work on is the whole going potty business. He has absolutely NO interest in it! I know boys are slower in this dept but he tends to get very anxious about it. They are working with him at school which I am SO happy about! But I wonder if there is more to this bathroom thing. I mean he has always been a constipated kid. We buy Miralax by the case! LOL! It was not until today that I ever really thought about prematurity & how being born at almost 33 weeks really affected them. You see Mr B has issues! He has the HARDEST time going #2. It's like he will hold it in. I know, TMI but I need to share this. Maybe there is someone out there that can relate. Here I am being ignorant thinking it was how he was made & he would eventually grow out of it. I mean there is only so much Miralax a kid can ingest before refusing to take no more! We are there! He refuses his sippy if we put some of it in there! So there I was making that dreaded call to his Pediatrician to get a name of a Pediatric Gastro Dr. To get my son some relief! It was when I made that call I realized there is more to this & we need some answers. He needs help & at just over three years old I am the only person he has to get it for him. Maybe after we see the specialist we will have more knowledge of what is going on down there. So as a treat I allowed him to sleep in Mommy's bed. Hoping that he would relax & feel better. It's a treat & hopefully not forming a bad habit. So now you know why...

just another rainy day...

Today started out pretty good. I woke up earlier than normal, 630AM, to the start of a terrible storm, I could hear thunder, I am sure there was lightening somewhere & just knew that the rain would be coming. SO I ran outside TRYING to be pro active & started to fertilize the lawn. Yes I know that was VERY stupid of me but I could not waste the opportunity to get our grass back into the GREEN column.Ever since the pool was built our sprinklers are kaput then we had these munchkins well you know where the money goes! Just to set the record straight when I went out there was no lightening just some thunder in the distance. Anyhow, I succeeded & hopefully our lawn will start to take shape soon! While I was out in the elements the tribe was FAST asleep. In fact they did not wake up until almost 915! WOO HOO! I just love days like today! However I do not love having the kids INSIDE bored out of their minds but I just love a rainy day filled with thunder! If I did not have these responsibilities of this house & these buggers I would have slept in myself! But NO... I was outside in my bathing suit getting drenched! Once the tribe awoke they kept me entertained. Camryn always asks where Daddy is & I tell her he is at work. She then pointed to her wall like she did the other day. This is the same wall in their nursery that I have partially painted with a bi plane pulling a sign. She then tells me that she wants her Daddy to fly the plane! Awhh... These are the moments I treasure! Spending time with the munchkins when they are GOOD! Today was a new day! They got along & actually had some fun! We watched Yo Gabba Gabba on Mommy's bed. Yes it is "Our" bed however they seem to think it's just mine & I let them! LOL! They LOVE watching that show! Something about those goofy looking characters acting all goofy & dancing around gets them excited! I enjoy it because they are happy & there's no screaming going on! YAY! The rain stopped for about an hour and we actually got some sunshine so I took advantage & let them have a quick dip in the pool. I LOVE how they are becoming little pool lovers! Brendan especially! He LOVES swimming around the pool with mommy. We usually go in au natural, what a sight to see, 4 naked babies! No need for me to wash even MORE laundry! LOL! I was so happy when nap time arrived because I could get some more stuff accomplished. That is what I thought! They wreaked havoc the short time they were in there. I think Camryn is starting to corrupt her brother because HE was the mischief maker today! Diapers & wipes all over the place PLUS a broken picture frame! What am I gonna do!? And to think this was a GOOD day! Oh and it's...

just another rainy day...

dreams...

Lately I have been dreaming ALOT! I do not know why just that I attribute it to getting MORE sleep. I need that! Anyhow, Last night I had the strangest dream. I dreamt that Michael, Dustyn, my Mom, the babies & I all were on a trip where we rented a house. I have no idea where this house was just that it was some place warm. Somehow I had just Camryn with me, I know you all will say that is because she is my favorite, but that is not true! She was just with me & we needed to go back to "our" house to get some things before we met up with the rest of my clan. I remember thinking to myself that everyone was some place else so the house would be empty. I unlock the door and start towards the bedroom when I hear a noise like someone is there. Then I look up & there in the doorway stood my father, my deceased father. Now you need to know for approximately 6 years before his death my father was in a wheelchair. He had a paralyzed right arm and only stood up when he walked to and from the front door, car, shower, etc. In this dream he was not in a wheelchair or sick at all, he was getting changed for dinner & then proceeded to ask me where all my children were. I think my mouth was gaped open from being stunned to see him there because all I said was that Camryn is here. Then the dream gets EVEN weirder. His right arm was the size of a childs but worked & was good as new. I told you it was a weird dream! I stood there watching my child, the one that looks most like him, in his arms, giggling and saying "Hi Grand Dad". I was in awe! I always tell my children that he is around them. I do not want them to forgot the short time they did have with him so I continually ask them to tell me where he is. They will point up to Heaven or to their hearts, you see he is in their hearts. When I woke up I was really amazed that I even remembered it. My father passed away 16 months ago. I mean what does it all mean? They say that dreams NEVER mean what they seem. In my mind this dream sort of represented what I think my children missed out on, a Grand Dad that they will have memories with. All I have these days are...
