"I have to go poopie on the potty!". I cannot tell you how long I have been waiting to hear those words! TOO long if you ask me! The whole potty training experience has been such a struggle that some days I just gave up! These children of ours are VERY stubborn & will only do something when they want to do it! In fact some mornings they will wake up & the first thing out of their mouths will be "No BIG kid panties!". Like they knew what I have planned for them & they wanted NO part of it! LOL! So for the good part of the last year we did not potty train at all. I was not going to get any more stressed out than I already was! Costco became our second home because we could get the best deal on diapers there! I did not even revisit the potty training business until the last week or so. And it was not until the past few days did we see some HUGE progress! It all started the night before their 3rd birthday. I was bathing all four of them as I usually do when Cam tells me that she has to go poopie in the potty. Like I have not heard these words before. I did NOT believe it at all but I obliged her! I dried her off & she climbed up on the potty. She sat there for a good bit longer than I thought she should so I went to put her back into the tub when she said "No, I poopie in the potty!". Low and behold she did the deed! I was in awe! My daughter pooped on the potty & I did NOT have to remind her! WOO HOO! This is such a HUGE accomplishment! Does this mean we are near...

standing room only...
These children of ours LOVE watching me change their diapers! When anyone even mentions that they have a poopie they will all get up from whatever they are doing, run ahead of me & then gather in their room. The first one in is usually the one with the poopie. They climb up onto the changing table & get ready for me to change their dirty deed. The funny part is that they don't fight over being FIRST it is 2nd place that they all want! They want to be the one to stand on the diaper pail placed strategically at the end of the changing table that gives them their "perfect" view. Little did I know that where I placed their diaper pail would create such drama! The new configuration is due to them using their changing table as a means to get to the other side of the room during nap time. SO mommy put the darn thing in the middle of the room to curb that! It amazes me how amazed they are to check out their own poop! I cannot tell you how many times they say "See it", CRAZY! Nothing like checking out one of the grossest functions your body creates! When Dr Oz said you should check out your poop I do not think he meant this! hahah! Oh the things that amaze these children of ours! They can make even a normal activity exciting! And to think this all started by fighting over...

I'm vomit, you're poop!...
These words actually came out of my hubby's mouth tonight. CRAZY but true! You see we made a pact a LONG time ago that when the kids vomit he will clean it up & when they poop I would do the same. This was one deal I had no problem making! I do not care how many poopie diapers I have to change as long as vomit does not come my way I am good! I think I'd throw up just looking at their vomit forget about the smell! YUK YUK YUK! SO tonight when Miss Avery told us that she had poopies her Daddy proceeded to tell me...

The best laugh I had all day!
Ok I have to tell you about what happened on Saturday at Grandma's house. As usual I worked. This time I only worked an 8 hour shift but we all have been under the weather lately so I was TIRED! Anyhow, the babies woke up around 415pm & we brought them all in to Grandma's room & climbed into her bed together. We were just lounging out. Michael proceeds to tell me about their day. I usually try to make a point of asking him how his day was while I was at work. I usually already know since I practically call them ALL day long! ha! He tells me how Avery came up to him with what he thought was chocolate on her fingers & then proceeded to put her fingers in his mouth. His first clue should have been that it was Avery. Remember, she is our child that CONSTANTLY sticks her hands in her diaper. Well, as most of you can already guess, it was not chocolate on her fingers. My darling daughter was trying to tell her Daddy that she had a "stinky" in her pants. He said he about threw up & had to clean his mouth out with peroxide! Daddy's will never learn! Never let your child put ANYTHING from their finger in your mouth! As I was picturing this in my head all I could do was laugh! I about peed my pants because I laughed SO hard! Leave it to little Miss Avery! hahahah! It was...
