Read my lips, "NO MORE SAND!"...

I will be the first one to admit that I DISLIKE sand! I dislike it so much that if I can help it the tribe would never go to a park with sand. One might say that's wrong of a mother to feel that way but when you have four sets of feet tracking the dirt into YOUR car you might feel differently. When we hit the beach we rinse off competely to help limit what mama needs to cean up. Seriously a bottle of hand sanitizer & a mini vac are this mama's best friends! =) I have on SEVERAL occasions arrived to a park only to see sand & promptly pull away in search of a "sand-free park". Not only is it GROSS because who knows what animals & even children have done their business in it. DISGUSTING!! I know, I know I'm a bad mommy for not embracing it but seriously I really really do NOT like sand!...

I think you should go...

This past weekend we had the pleasure of having my oldest brother, their Uncle Jim, visit us. He had some business to tend to in Orlando for a few days & decided to make the trek further South to visit us for the weekend. He did not just visit us but he visited Grandma, Uncle Bob & LuLu too. Family has always been BIG with us so this was a wonderful treat to have him here. He hitched a ride with a fellow employee to our neck of the woods so then we drove him down to Grandma's. It was an adventure. We hung out at the mall for a few hours because his 3 1/2 hour trip took longer than expected. He arrived rather late so the tribe got to stay up WAY past their bed time. They did not have a care in the world & not having a nap did NOT phase them one bit! When it finally was time to go to bed they asked Uncle Jim to lay down with them. What a sight, four kids & one adult man on 2 beds. TOO TOO funny! Well he obliged them. It was just him & them in the room suppose to be going to sleep. Needless to say they did NOT want to sleep so they began to quiz him. It is in moments like these that we get to know more about our children than we really wanted to. You see they will say just about ANYTHING & do not hold back their opinion in the least. From what I was told it started out with "What is your name? Are you Jim or Uncle Jim?". He proceeded to tell them that his name is really James. Well Camryn did not believe that & said "NOooo... You are Uncle Jim!". He told her that she could ask Grandma in the morning & she would tell her that his name was really James. She giggled in disbelief. Then the topic quickly switched from his name to what she smelled, HIM! She told him that he stunk!. {Yes she really went there!! Gotta LOVE children!} Heck if I had been traveling the better part of the day in a car I think I'd be stinky too! LOL! So then he asked her if he should stay or should he go?. She said...

trenches...

I am DEEP into the trenches of the "terrible twos" and I do not know how to get out of them. The last week has been a rough one! I have cried practically every day. God love my hubby for taking those tear filled calls. What I have been experiencing my girlfriend Desiree says best, "Tantrum Rodeos". LOL! Some days thats exactly how I feel, like I fought a bull & the bull won! I'm SO EXHAUSTED! I feel like I cannot listen to another hysterical cry or anymore stomping feet! This one took this one's toy or that one has this one's cup. They sure know what buttons to push! They make my nights LONG and my days even LONGER! Each day I wake up telling myself that this day will be better than the last & I am ALWAYS wrong! I have all of these ideas on how to make our home MUCH more liveable. Like first off since we cannot have a basement( SO want a basement!) to corral them into then I want a "kid" room. A place for them to have completely. A place they can do whatever in. We do not have a home big enough for us all so we need to do something QUICK! It is terrible how they wreck the place. They think they have free reign over everything & just when I clean up one mess there goes another one. Other than putting EVERY item from inside our home out in our garage out of their reach, I do not know what I should do! The only time they listen is if I tell them I have a bug. Yes our kids LOVE bugs. I cannot tell you how many times I have lied about catching a bug for them to come to me. CRAZY huh!? They bang things on the windows, they try to unlock doors, pull things off the counters, grab things off the side of the fridge or better yet wave the broom towards the walls trying to knock down the pictures. They are WILD! I take them outside & they try to push out the screens or make holes in them. Then when they have something they should not have they will run faster as I chase them through the house like it is one BIG joke. I know I'll laugh about it when they are older but right now all I want to do is cry. I get SO upset & I feel that they are putting me to an early grave. My wish to become a mommy was not granted for me to get this upset. There are few people that I can call that can relate to my struggles. We had it SO easy when they were babies. They ate when they were suppose to, slept through the night since 4 months, rarely cried & most of all loved being in their stroller! Now the hell begins! Most people including my hubby say they are just kids. Yes I realize this BUT no woman should ever have to go through what I go through. My quad PLUS momma friend Joellen will call me from time to time because she has been there, done that. She senses my frustration and trys to make me see that this too will pass. I really do think that I have aged quite a bit these past few months. Some days I have no energy to red up anything. I hope when they grow up they will appreciate the sacrifices I have made. I hope they will remember the happy times instead of these CRAZY times! Does it ever get better? PLEASE help me get through this! If there is anyone out there that knows how I feel or experienced the same PLEASE give me pointers on what to do! With a LOT of prayer I hope to get out of these...

The "stuff" you can fit into a guest bathroom...

Today was not unlike any other day. Mommy had her normal visitors when she had to use the restroom. We never seem get "alone time" when you have little one's! hah! However this time she had more than her 4 little ones crowding around her! This time they brought everything but the kitchen sink with them!

Here is a short list of the "stuff" they fit into the guest bathroom:

3 babydolls
1 baby stroller
1 shopping cart
1 Mickey Mouse riding toy
2 Star Wars toys
1 pink potty chair
1 Teddy Bear step stool
1 mommy
and of course 4 twenty month old's

Needless to say it was quite crowded in the bathroom this morning. They did not care one bit! They just wanted to be near me. Funny how that works!

I wish I could share with everyone each of the funnies they do each day. This is just a small glimpse into our life. Next it might be what can fit into the bath tub, haha! but for now it is just...
